The Sudbury Race Amity Day Task Force

The Sudbury Race Amity Day Task Force was formed in 2018 by Dr. William H. "Smitty" Smith, Ed.D., to establish an annual Race Amity Day celebration in Sudbury.

Dr. Smith is a Sudbury resident, the former principal of Ephraim Curtis Middle School, and the Founding Executive Director of the National Center for Race Amity.

The task force held their first Sudbury Race Amity Day celebration in June 2018. What started as a single-day celebration has grown to include not only the June celebration but also facilitated discussions about race throughout the year.

The task force is always looking for new members and volunteers, and we invite you to join us. Reach out to us with your interest at sudburyraceamity@gmail.com.
